Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput sudden and untimely demise due to suicide has created a massive outrage on social media against members of the Bollywood fraternity. Filmmaker Karan Johar, actress Alia Bhatt, and #Nepotism are trending on social media with people pointing out the prevalent Nepotism in the industry. Reacting to the same, actress Sonam Kapoor made a tweet pointing out how blaming others is mean spirited. In return, the actress gets trolled by the Twitterati as they try to explain the difference.

Taking to Twitter, Sonam Kapoor tweeted, “Blaming a girlfriend, ex-girlfriend, family, colleagues for someone’s death is ignorant and fucking mean spirited.” In her tweet, the actress mentioned how blaming a girlfriend, ex-girlfriend, family, colleagues for a person’s death is ignorant. As Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has created a massive outrage on social media against some of his colleagues, Kapoor pointed out that its ‘fu**ing mean spirited’.

Sonam Kapoor’s this tweet after Sushant’s death seems to not have gone well with many social media users. One user tweeted, “no one blaming girlfriend and ex, everyone blaming nepotism.” Another social media user wrote, “Nepotism ki sabse gandi outcome ko sach kadva lag gaya hai shayad.” In the tweet, the user called Sonam Kapoor an outcome of Nepotism and asked her if it has hurt her.




While many social media users tried to explain their point of view, Sonam Kapoor also faced severe backlash from the Twitterati. One user wrote, “Blaming an environment which exists surely?” and questioned how it’s wrong to blame an environment which exists, while another explained, “blaming Karan And Nepotism kids, not his Ex or friends.”






Meanwhile, after Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide news hit headlines, filmmaker Karan Johar shared a tweet mourning the actor’s demise. Soon after, the producer faced backlash on social media for his post on Instagram where he apologised to the late actor for not being there for him at his time of need.
